Terms, in plain language
The short version of how engagements run. The full details live in each client agreement — this is the part worth knowing up front.
- PaymentInvoiced on day one.
- Each cycle is invoiced on day one and due within 7 days. One-off projects are invoiced on delivery. Overdue balances accrue 1.5% per month; work pauses after 15 days overdue and resumes when the balance clears.
- ApprovalsSilence keeps things moving.
- Work submitted for approval is considered accepted after 5 business days. Compliance-reviewed content is the exception — it ships only on an explicit yes.
- When things waitReserved capacity stays reserved.
- If access, inputs or approvals stall beyond 10 business days, the affected work goes on hold and picks back up as capacity allows. Monthly fees cover reserved capacity, so they remain due. Approved work left unimplemented for 90+ days gets a fresh look before shipping.
- RevisionsTwo rounds, one list.
- Two rounds per deliverable. Feedback counts as one consolidated list per round.
- ResultsEvidence, not predictions.
- No one can promise rankings, so this practice doesn't. Reporting is measured against sources and dates, with a plain read on what moved because of our work and what moved on its own.
- RefundsAll sales are final.
- Capacity is reserved when an engagement starts. If a specific deliverable was never delivered, that's on me and it gets made right — that's the one exception.
- Your work & my toolsClean ownership.
- You own everything I deliver to you, once paid in full. The methods, frameworks and tools I used to produce it remain mine.
- Case studiesOnly by agreement.
- Your name and your numbers never appear anywhere without a written yes.
- Parting ways30 days, both directions.
- Either of us can end an engagement with 30 days' notice. Paid transition support is available so nothing is lost on the way out.
